『Here Comes Science』
創作活動に休みがないThey Might Be Giantsが今度は”子供の教育を目的としたポップミュージック”をコンセプトに2枚組（CD＋DVD）の新作アルバム『Here Comes Science』をリリースした。
このアルバムは「The Elements－元素の歌」など科学分野についてポップな歌とチャーミングな映像を組み合わせることでユーモア溢れる -まるでセサミストリートのような- 価値ある音楽教材作品になっている。キッズシリーズと称した彼らの作品『Here Comes the 123s』『Here Comes the ABCs』でも同様のアプローチをしていることからTMBGの作品は子供向けの教材の今後の指標となるべきだとの声もすでにあがっているようだ。リリースが米Disney Soundというのも興味深い。
『Here Comes 123s』そして『Here Comes ABCs』をマスターしたお子様たちに今度は科学への楽しい一歩を踏み出してもらおう。
