ミネソタのパワーポップトリオ、Supraluxe！造語なのか、読み方が難しいですがSuperDeluxeではありませんよ～～！！で、このバンド、2曲目Flowerのようにサマーポップな雰囲気もありつつ、時にはメランコリックで切なげなメロディーを鳴らすグッドセンスの持ち主。エルトンジョン、トッドラングレンや、デヴィッドボウイなどをフェイヴァリットにあげているのもただのパワーポップに終わらない彼ら独特のオリジナリティー！キーボード/ピアノサウンドをふんだんに使った華やかなポップスは60'Sヨーロッパの香りもプンプン。ロックンロール、フォーキーなナンバーなど全10曲収録。

BIOGRAPHY
A musician and a fan, Risser began playing in bands in high school and has maintained an active musical life throughout college, medical school and now with Supraluxe. Despite juggling life as a practicing physician and spending time with his outrageously supportive wife and son, Risser finds himself rejuvenated and honestly making the best music of his life. Risser's approach focuses on the creative process of writing and developing songs. He is self-deprecating when it comes to his guitar skills (despite evidence to the contrary on Supraluxe) and demonstrates his appreciation for the instrument through frequent acquisitions. Guitars heard on this CD include 90's Les Paul Custom, a 70's Telecaster Deluxe and a 70's SG Standard. Risser is also a collector of vintage Fender and Orange amps.
